Last newcomer: Dr. Philipp Thaler

Philipp is postdoctoral researcher in Energy Governance since November 2017 and an expert on energy and climate policies, holding a PhD in political science. He strengthens the work for SCCER CREST working at IPW-HSG with Prof. James Davis. Also we would like to thank Dr. Jörn Richert for his valuable work during the last three years, wishing him all the best for his personal and professional future. Jörn took up a new challenge in the private sector.

The Center for Energy Innovation, Governance and Investment (EGI-HSG), established in 2014, bundles the expertise and competence at the University of St.Gallen in energy research. EGI-HSG provides the scientific basis for decision-making processes in business and politics. The University of St.Gallen and its partners from academia, industry and public administration aim at providing a valuable contribution to the implementation of the Swiss Energy Strategy 2050.
